My approach focuses on building on existing habits for a healthier lifestyle

 

Weight loss is often a byproduct but the focus is learning skills for lifelong health maintenance

My Story

 

I came to Alaska 25+ years ago, and have lived in Fairbanks since 1997. I love being outdoors, hiking, harvesting, and enjoying our beautiful state   

 

I began my nutrition career in 2009 doing research with the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I published on the importance of child and young adult nutrition in Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism; https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4619959/

I have taught Nutrition at UAF, and I have worked through Golden Heart Health (formerly NovoVita) as a health coach and health educator since 2015

​

In 2019 I earned national and Alaska State license as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and I continue to offer nutrition counseling through Golden Heart Health
